Riverina Access Program Combined Staff Development Day

Riverina Access Program teachers gatherd together at the term 3 Staff development day held in Griffith.

The 88 teaching staff from every school in the Riverina Access Partnership: Ardlethan, Ariah Park, Barellan, Hillston, Lockhart and Oaklands Central Schools came together on the Developement Day this term at the Griffith Ex Services Day.

The Riverina Access Program (RAP) appreciated the opportunity to network together and to focus on their delivery of collaborative and connected teaching and learning delivery.

The workshop the teachers attended was designed to help students achieve their potential, support the wellbeing of teachers and provide positive, stimulating and nurturing environments in schools and classrooms.

Following this workshop the teachers will be engaged in 10 weeks of follow-up activities provided to the staff at each of the schools.

James Gordan, RAP Head Teacher siad, “It was wonderful to have the staff working together, sharing experiences, ideas and opinions throughout the ‘Habits of Highly Effective Teachers’ workshop.”
