Edu Tech Conference – Sydney International Conventiomn Centre

Sam Nelson presenting

On the 7th and 8th June, Southern Cross School of Distance Education sent a team of staff and students to present their work involving coding practices using Micro:bit technology. Led by Sam Nelson, the team were given the opportunity to showcase their learning through live demonstrations such as the development of small, motorised chariots. Both staff and students were also available to show their skills to other visiting schools on the day, providing teachers with information on how to employ coding into their programming for both primary and secondary aged pupils.

These photos taken on the first day of the conference highlight the successful presentation and workshop participation from a range of schools. Well done to Sam and the team on their innovative presentation!
